Stand-up comedian, Ayo Makun, AY has taken a customer-friendly approach to promoting his recently built club, MVP Lagos, by offering a free pass into the club on Friday evening as Seyi Law and other comedians thrill guests with their jokes.
The grand opening of MVP Lagos, located in highbrow Lekki, will see Seyi Law host the ‘free’ comedy show along with unnamed other comedians every Sunday.
Considering the cost of the different comedy shows hosted by comedians such as AY, the free pass to listen to some good jokes is certainly a good incentive for comedy lovers to visit the club. Tickets for the comedian’s yearly Easter show, AY Live on Easter Sunday, cost N6000 for regular spot and as high as N1,000,000 for VIP seats.
AY already seems to have set a standard for the club by getting a couple of his celebrity friends to endorse it with an all-white photo shoot, making it the destination place for the high-flying.
Some of those who have endorsed are Julius Agwu, Timaya, Patoranking, Seyi Shay, Kcee, Anna Ebiere, HarrySong, Tiwa Savage, Gbenro Ajibade, Juliet Ibrahim, Bryan Okwara, Mbong Amata, Padita Agu, Ik Ogbonna, Melvin Oduah, Alexx Ekubo, Stephanie Coker, Anna Ebiere, Omoniyi Makun, Dj Jimmy Jatt, and Dj Exclusive.
