Babatunde Omotoba, chief executive officer (CEO) of NatCom Development & Investment Limited, better known as ntel, has been awarded the fellowship of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
In a statement on Tuesday, the NSE said Omotoba was recognised for his track record of contributions and achievements in the engineering field over the years.
This makes Omotoba one of the Nigerians to have double fellowship in two divergent or unrelated fields, as he holds a fellowship in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
“I am happy to inform you that 30 years after graduating with First Class Honours in Civil Engineering, the Council of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) has approved the election of Hon. Engr. Babatunde Omotoba, as a fellow (FNSE) of the society,” the statement read.
