Suspected members of the Badoo cult have reportedly killed three members of a family in the Ibeshe area of Ikorodu, Lagos.

According to PUNCH, the victims, whose names are not yet known, were found in the pool of their blood on Thursday morning.

A resident of the area was quoted as saying the deceased’s wife who sustained injuries in the incident, is in a critical condition at the Ikorodu general hospital.

“I learnt about the incident this morning (Thursday) and I went to the area. There was no burglar proof bar on the windows of the family’s apartment,” the resident identified as Israel, reportedly said.

“The man, his son and his wife’s younger sister were found in a pool of blood. The wife survived but she was in a critical condition. The sister-in-law had visited them. I was told that it was the couple’s daughter who also visited this morning (Thursday) that raised the alarm.

“The sight of the deceased was very gory. From all indications, the attack was perpetrated by Badoo members.”

Chike Oti, spokesman of the Lagos police command, could not be reached for comments on the incident.

The cult group has continued to wreak havoc despite security measures put in place by government and residents.
