Former Niger Tornadoes boss, Bala Nikyu, has agreed to be the head coach of Nasarawa United.
A source in the club told TheCable that the deal hasn’t been made official by the management of Solid Miners.
But feelers from the team’s camp suggest that he has agreed to a one-year deal.
The former Wikki Tourists and Katsina United coach returns to the familiar terrain for the third time in his career.
Known for stabilising average teams, Nikyu is expected to mould a solid team that the “hard to please” Nasarawa United fans will be proud of.
The Solid Miners will be featuring in the Abridged 2018/19 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season which kickoffs on December 1.
Ex-ABS manager Kabiru Dogo recently resigned after a five-year stint at Nasarawa United.
