Barca dump Gunners out of UCL as expected
Barcelona have sent Arsenal packing from Nou Camp from the Uefa Championship League (UCL) to go into the quarter finals of the Championship, thanks to goals from Neymar, Suarez and Messi.
Ospina was able to save a close-range shot from Messi in the 17th minutes. Neymar latched onto a through ball from Suarez and picked his spot to give Barcelona the lead in the 18th minute.
Arsenal kept to their game plan in spite of being a goal down, working hard and creating chances. Flamini got into the referee’s book in the 32nd minute after fouling on Andre Iniesta.
Flamini made an effort from outside the box but his drive creeps over the bar in the 26th minute.
Arsenal pulled one back though Mohammed Elneny in the 50th minute before Luis Suarez scored a magnificent volley and Messi added a third with a sumptuous dink over David Ospina.
