Barcelona legend Carles Puyol says his former club will come back stronger and eventually clinch the La Liga title.

Nigerian sport journalist, Oma Akatugba, had asked him if Barcelona could bounce back in La Liga after suffering three consecutive defeats.

“I don’t really know why Barcelona lost; that’s the dynamic of football. It happens to great teams, but I have confidence in my former team mates; they will turn it around and they will come back stronger, he said.

Puyol won three champions league title and six La Liga trophies with the club.

He joined the Catalans in 1996 and retired in 2014.
