Benedict Peters appointed on US-Africa Business Centre’s board of advisors

Benedict Peters, chief executive officer of AITEO, has been appointed to serve on the board of advisors for the US-Africa Business Centre.

Peters’ appointment was announced in a statement released on Tuesday by the US Chamber of Commerce.

Welcoming Peter on board, Scott Eisner, chairman of the US-Africa Business Centre, said: “We value and appreciate the insights from companies such as yours as they not only benefit the Center but also play a pivotal role in strengthening the ties between the United States and countries throughout Africa.”

The board on which Peter was appointed has US-Africa Business Centre has CEO from Fortune 500 companies like Banco Prestigío, BP, Caterpillar, Chevron, IBM, MasterCard, and Microsoft.

The U.S.-Africa Business Centre said its mission in Nigeria “is to build lasting prosperity for Africans and Americans through job creation and entrepreneurial spirit, something that Mr. Peters has been active in on the continent for many years”.
