Blackface: I helped 2face but he ditched me

Blackface, a member of the former pop group, Plantashun Boyz, says he gave 2face the Midas touch to become successful.
The struggling artiste, who was responding to a question on Trending, a programme on entertainment channel, HipTV, said he saw the potential in 2face and decided to help him.”You don’t have to ask a friend for help before he does. A friend helps you before asking. I gave 2face his name. I saw the potential in him and decided to help him,” he said.Blackface said he had wanted to launch his career as a solo artiste before 2face came into the picture.
He lamented that when he was in the “ditch” his “so-called” friend (referring to 2face) did not lend a helping hand. However, he said there were more faithful friends around him now, adding that he had moved on.
The artiste said he was ready for any collaboration with his former musical mates, 2face and Faze. He also disclosed he was ready to release his new album after a five-year hiatus.
