Boko Haram will fall within 6 weeks, says Dasuki

Boko Haram will fall within 6 weeks, says Dasuki
February 09
15:14 2015

Sambo Dasuki, national security adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan, says all the camps of Boko Haram insurgents within the country would be destroyed within six weeks.

In an interview with AFP on Monday, Dasuki expressed optimism that the ongoing multinational offensive against the insurgents would be productive.

Chad, Cameroon and Niger are currently collaborating with the Nigerian military in a bid to put an end to activities of the sect, which has unleashed a violent campaign on Nigeria and, lately, three other neighbouring African countries.

Last Wednesday, Dasuki wrote to the Independent National Electoral Election (INEC) advising a six-week shift of the election.

Announcing the postponement of the poll on Saturday, Attahiru Jega, chairman of INEC, quoted Dasuki as saying that the military would not be able to provide security for INEC on February 14 and February 28 because soldiers would be preoccupied with an intense anti-insurgency battle in the north-east.

However, the presidential aide has assured Nigerians that the elections will hold on March 28 and April 11.

“Those dates will not be shifted again,” he said.

In his letter to INEC he says the 6 weeks postponement is in the first instance. How many more instances of request for postponement are we to expect from the NSA?

What stopped them from destroying the BH camps in the 6 years they have been in power? Politics? But why do so with people’s lives? The truth about BH is gradually undressing!

GEJ skillfully has exposed the north for who they are by giving them minister of defence, IGP, NSA, defence chief, INEC chairman, cjn, appeal court president, etc. All these people have failed towards getting us security and an election! Yet no one is calling for their sack!!! hypocrites you all are!
Foolishly, some northern elites are allowing the ever opportunistic yorobas goad them to commit irreversible political blunder by pushing Jonathan away from aso seat by force. Time will expose this hypocrisy and hyena-like opportunism!

the truth about the whole saga is this;BH is a government sponsored programme for two major points [1] aimed at extending the tenure premised on insecurity,if there is no objection, but if there is,then [2] for scoring cheap political/popularity point for the government with the intention of gaining the confidence of the people to remain in power, because what was initiated can definitely be truncated by them, but let no one be pertubed, because this is a script[divine] unknowinly by the actors for the WILL of GOD to prevail

I see the light. The light of God all over Nigeria. We criticize without proffering solutions. Can’t you see that God wants to save us from a botched election. This time around there should be proper planning with proper supervision and monitoring of INEC by the different stakeholders. Weekly operational reports of the collection of PVCs in different states be published. We have no other country. May God be with us. Long live the Federal Republic of Nigerian

I commend the federal government for the efforts they have made to wipe out boko haram. What baffles me is, why under six weeks when you had the whole of six years? Do Nigerians appear that foolish and daft to you? Mr president even if you end book haram today, it doesn’t change the fact that your
government through corruption has has successfully buried some people who have been trying had to survive. As for me it is over for your rotten government. We can’t continue like this.

“Boko will be defeated by April”, that was Minimah when he took over early last year.
Since then, we have had many promises from all kinds of government and security agencies. Now, the much-needed weapons are here, even though Boko Haram has taken half of it; Cameroon, Chad, and Niger republic have joined the war all in an effort to destroy a band of hungry and illiterate ruffians a former governor used to campaign for reelection over six years ago.
Promises are, again, flying all over the place and general elections have been postponed. If Boko Haram is not defeated in six weeks, Jonathan will lose even in his village, and all the security chiefs can be assured that their jobs will be over.
This is when to throw in everything you have, including the kitchen sink.

When you read some people you wonder who they are? patriot or dissidents? Many stupidly politicised government effort in combating terrorism because they are in support of the opposition party. Do you ever think that Nigeria will conduct an election if there is war. Tell me how long it took Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria to combat terrorism. Stop discrediting Government efforts. Have they recovered from war till date even when they were assisted US and UN. Nigeria needs good ideas on how to defeat terrorist. Who is the head of terrorist operation in Nigeria. Pray that worst will not happened when the opposition party loses election. That is the crux of the matter
