Lawal Daura, director-general of the Department of State Services (DSS), was sacked by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday.
This happened after armed operatives of the DSS blocked lawmakers from entering the National Assembly Complex.
While some praised the federal government for this, others believed Daura was “tactically sacked” to seek sympathy from the public.
