The duo of Jim Iyke and Bovi are celebrating their birthdays on Thursday and while one is wishing for national peace, the other is wishing for more greatness. Coincidentally Bovi’s daughter is also one today.

The comedian who clocks 35 and who would also host the upcoming Headies alongside Toke Makinwa, took to his Twitter page to share some thought-provoking wishes of what he would want for his birthday, having been assured it would come true.

“Because it’s our birthday today, someone said I should wish for anything and see if it won’t happen. So hear it goes…,” Bovi wrote.

“Because it’s our birthday, I wish the missing Chibok girls’ mystery is resolved so I can look my daughter and smile without worry.

“Because it’s our birthday, I wish every government official responsible for our roads takes up responsibility and does the required.

“Because it’s our birthday, I wish we can line up next year and vote without violence, without tribalism, regionalism, religion as factors.

“Because it’s our birthday, I wish we unite to fight corruption the way we did against Ebola. There can only be one ending when we cooperate.”

For JIm, self-praise has always been his gait. Turning 38, he recounts all his “many achievements,” much of which include getting delivered from demons via the now-controversial TB Joshua and escaping Ebola. He took to his Instagram page to say these.

His off and on fiancée Nadia Buari also took to her Instagram page to celebrate “her man”.
