FG recovers assets worth N2.034trn
The federal government has recovered assets worth N2.034 trillion.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by Lai Mohammed, minister of information, on Saturday.
The statement said a good part of the recovered assets is awaiting collection, revealing that the current administration has made cash recoveries totaling N78 billion from May 29, 2015, when it came to power, to May 25, 2016.
However, the identities of those who made the refunds were not disclosed.
Mohammed had earlier said President Muhammadu Buhari was advised against naming those who returned loot.
In his democracy day address, the president had said that the report which would be published by the information ministry would be updated in due course.
