Funke Akindele, Nigerian actress, is having a wedding ceremony to her heartthrob, Abdul Rasheed Bello, at an unconfirmed location.
Lolo, an OAP who was present at the wedding, had shared a picture of guests at the ceremony on Instagram and captioned it “Live at #Jenifas wedding @funkeakindele Hml ore mi”
However, TheCable was informed that the wedding was merely part of the recording for the sixth season of Jenifa’s Diaries.
The University of Lagos graduate was married to Adeola Oloyede but the pair divorced a year later, citing “irreconcilable differences”.
The 39-year-old actress has been romantically linked to JJC, a Nigerian rapper and musician, after the latter shared cozy pictures of the duo on his Snapchat account.
However, Funke Akindele has kept mum on the issue and has focused on producing seasons of Jenifa’s Diaries, her soap opera.
Also, JJC has made his debut acting appearance in the soap opera and he is taking the role of Jenifa’s boyfriend.
The role was formerly played by Folarin Falana, rapper and songwriter better known as Falz da Bahd Guy.
Tiwa Savage, singer and Mavin act, has also been pictured on set and it appears that she would be appearing in the sixth season of the soap.
Bankole Wellington, singer and EME boss popularly known as Banky W, made an appearance in the first season.
Funke Akindele began her acting career by featuring in the soap, I Need to Know. She has won numerous awards for her acting talent.
