President Goodluck Jonathan will hold the periodic media chat on Sunday.

The programme will be broadcast live on the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria and Voice of Nigeria by 7pm.

Other stations are expected to hook up.

Presidential spokesman Reuben Abati says the president will discuss current national issues.

Nigerians are to make contributions and ask questions via Twitter handle @mediachatng1.

The current burning issues are mostly security-related, including the kidnap of hundreds of secondary school girls and Nyanya blasts.

He may also be taken to task on the decision to close schools and offices in Abuja from May 7-9 for the World Economic Forum Africa.
