Maxwell Ekot is a loyal bricklayer but he can now boast of a million naira in his accounts. 

According to Dangote Cement, fortune has smiled on Ekot in the ongoing Dangote Mega Millions Dash which moved into its second month in January.

Ekot said he bought over 50 bags of cement before he could gather his winning entry.

Atolagbe Balkisu, a cement retailer, and Endurance Emmanuel, a student of Anambra State University, also have a million naira each in their accounts having bought lucky.

The cement company said it rewarded 70 winners with 1 million naira in the first month of the promotion.

In a statement , Oare Ojeikere, Dangote Group’s chief marketing officer, assured customers that the company’s management “will continue to look for new ways of enhancing their value as the level of acceptability of its products remains unprecedented in the history of cement business in Nigeria”.

Dangote Cement is Africa’s leading cement producer with three plants in Nigeria and recently opened factories in Ethiopia, Zambia, South Africa, Senegal and Cameroon

The promo, which is slated to run for three months, will share N300 million among 3,783 winners.
