The Black Market is illegal, but that’s where you can get a ticket for the May 2 bout between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao at the moment.

And it doesn’t come cheap.

The few tickets for the fight of the century were made available to the public and unsurprisingly snapped up in seconds after they went on sale Thursday night.

Even less surprisingly, they started appearing on ticket exchange websites almost immediately, with some being offered for as much as £85,000 and that’s N25m at current Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) rate!

Just 1,000 tickets were made available for sale to the general public for the bout, despite the MGM Grand in Las Vegas having a capacity of 16,500.

The other 15,500 seats have gone to the fighters, their sponsors and promoters. So, this is the best time to use your A-listed contacts and get across to who knows someone that knows someone in United States of America that knows Mayweather.

The cheapest ticket for the bout cost £1,000 (N296, 000), rising to about £5,000 (N2.2m) and went on sale on the MGM Grand’s website and Ticketmaster.

A number of seats for the much-anticipated fight now appear on ticket exchange website StubHub, which is owned by Ebay.

The cheapest available is priced at £3,882 (N1.1m), which is positioned in the furthest block away from the ring and you might need a binoculars to bring the fight close to you.

The most expensive, priced at £85,348 (N25m) are floor side seats for the Aliko Dangotes!
