Buhari picks Ahmad as assistant on new media

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Bashir Ahmad as his personal assistant on new media.

Though no official announcement has been made on the appointment, Bashir confirmed this on his Twitter account.

“Pleased to announce that I have been appointed by President Muhammadu @MBuhari as his Personal Assistant on New Media,” he wrote.

Ahmad, who was actively involved in the campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the buildup to the election, served as a member of the Buhari Support Organization (BSO).
