Buhari back in Abuja — after six days in Daura

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in the federal capital territory (FCT), Abuja from Daura, his hometown in Katsina state.

On August 31, the president left Abuja for the Sallah holiday.

A NAN correspondent said the presidential helicopter with registration no NAF-540 left the Daura helipad for Abuja at 10:24am.

The president was in the company of immediate members of his family and some aides.

He was accompanied to the departure point by the emir, politicians, well wishers and security personnel deployed.

While in Daura, Buhari received some dignitaries, including President Muhammadou Yusouffou of Niger.

He also hosted his secondary school mates and members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
