President Muhammadu Buhari hosted Vice-president Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Bukola Saraki, and Yakubu Dogara, speaker of the house of representatives, ahead of his medical trip to London.
Although details of the meeting were not made public, pictures were released on social media.
“This evening at home I received Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Abubakar Bukola Saraki and Speaker House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, ahead of my Trip to London tonight,” read a message on Buhari’s Twitter handle.

Abba Kyari, the president’s chief of staff, Abubakar Malami, attorney–general of the federation, also attended the meeting.

Femi Adesina, special adviser to the president on media and publicity, had earlier announced that the president would be going to the UK for a period that would be determined by his doctors.
Buhari returned to the country on March 10 after spending 49 days in London.
