Buhari reappoints Adesina, Garba Shehu

President Muhammadu Buhari has reappointed Femi Adesina and Garba Shehu, his spokespersons.

Abiodun Oladunjoye, a deputy director (information) at the presidential villa, disclosed this in a statement issued on Wednesday.

TheCable had earlier reported that the duo alongside some presidential aides had been reappointed.

The president also reappointed Laolu Akande as the senior special assistant to Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo.

All Osinbajo’s aides are officially attached to the president.

Oladunjoye said Buhari also reappointed Tolu Ogunlesi as his special assistant, digital/new media; Bashir Ahmad, personal assistant, new media; Lauretta Onochie, personal assistant, social media; and Nazir Bashiru, personal assistant, visual documentation.

“Following the election of Hon. Shaaban Ibrahim Sharada, the former Personal Assistant, Broadcast Media, as the lawmaker representing Kano Municipal Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, the President has appointed Buhari Sallau as his replacement,” he said.

“All appointments take effect from May 29, 2019, except that of the new entrant into the team, Buhari Sallau.”
