Buhari to address the nation ahead of elections

President Muhammadu Buhari will on Thursday address Nigerians by 7pm.

Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.

He said the address will broadcast on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria.

The address coming 48 hours to the presidential and national assembly elections.

“All television, radio stations and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast,” Adesina said.

On Wednesday, Buhari and Atiku signed a peace accord. While Atiku said his ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian, Buhari said elections are important only if they make the country safe.
