Burna Boy, the creator of Afro-fusion, prides himself as being in a different lane from his counterparts in the Nigerian music industry.

But while his music has continued to enjoy critical acclaim, his personal life has been marred with controversies.

Of late, the artiste born Damini Ogulu was accused of being complicit in the robbery attack on his colleague, Mr 2Kay.

Edgal Imohimi, Lagos state commissioner of police, had said the suspects of the robbery confessed to receiving instructions for the execution from Burna Boy’s road manager, Joel Kontiock.

Although Burna Boy denied involvement in the incident, he was invited by the police for questioning.

Amidst the saga, his concert billed to hold in December was cancelled.
