The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled Danone FanMilk, a dairy product manufacturing company, as its latest partner.
Danone FanMilk will be one of the CAF partners for the ongoing Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) and subsequent edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Antoine de Saint-Affrique, chief executive officer of Danone, said the partnership is committed to promoting good health through food for as many football fans as possible, in line with its vision for Africa.
Christian Stammkoetter, president of Danone in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, said the company seeks to leverage football as Africa’s number one sport and reach as many audiences as possible.

On their parts, Kayode Adebiyi, Country Director of Danone FanMilk Nigeria, and Olakunle Olusanya, General Secretary of Danone FanMilk West Africa, stated that the company is also committed to the CAF’s African Schools Football Programme for young talents on the continent.
They also confirm that over 10,000 volunteers, 5,000 accredited journalists, officials, and team members, as well as spectators at AFCON and WAFCON, would benefit from the company’s array of products during the events.
