Some traders on Monday blocked a section of the Abuja airport expressway over the planned demolition of the Gosa market.

Gosa is about 20 minutes drive to the airport. The market serves the needs of residents in areas located on the airport road.

Speaking with TheCable, a motorist who simply identified himself as Abu said he was in the gridlock for over three hours.
