The home-based Super Eagles will fly out to Morocco on Monday for the fifth African Nations Championship.

The tournament will take place from January 13 to February 4.

Dayo Enebi Achor, team administrator, said the team will travel aboard a Turkish Airline flight from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, and connect Rabat from Istanbul on Tuesday morning.

“The team will train for a few days in Rabat before heading to Tangier on Friday, January 12,” Achor said.

The squad, captained by Ikechukwu Ezenwa, will take on Rwanda at the Stade Ibn Batouta on Monday, January 15, before games against Libya on Friday, and Equatorial Guinea in Agadir on Tuesday, January 23.

Nigeria failed to qualify for the first two editions of the CHAN held in 2008 and 2011.

The class of 2014 led by late Stephen Keshi finished third in South Africa.
