CHAN Eagles win 3-0 in first tune-up match

Nigeria’s senior national team B, CHAN Eagles, defeated a South African university team on Tuesday in their preparation for the 2016 African Nations Championship.
The team beat University of Pretoria football club 3-0 at the club ground where the Super Eagles are camped and holding their training sessions.
Sunshine Stars striker Tunde Adeniji scored a brace while midfielder Ifeanyi Matthew of El-Kanemi Warriors also scored to complete the tally.
Sunday Oliseh’s side will play two tune-up friendlies against the Palancas Negras of Angola on Thursday and Elephants of Ivory Coast on January 11.

Nigeria kick off the CHAN 2016 group C campaign on January 18 against Niger, before playing Tunisia on January 22 and Guinea four days later.
