Chelsea face Man City as United get Coventry in FA Cup semi-finals
Manchester City will face Chelsea in one of two semi-final ties of the English FA Cup.
The semi-final draw was done on Sunday evening by Ian Wright, Arsenal legend, in the studio at Old Trafford after Manchester United eliminated Liverpool.
Chelsea was drawn last from the bag to face Man City, the current holders of the oldest cup competition in world football.
Pep Guardiola’s City are in the hunt for another treble following last season’s record-making feat.
Chelsea, on the other hand, have the opportunity of fighting for another silverware after the Carabao Cup final disappointment in February for the expensively-assembled squad.
The other tie will see Coventry City, surprise semi-finalists and the only championship side left in the competition, face Manchester United who remain in the hunt for silverware this season.
Both matches will be played at Wembley Stadium in London between April 20-21.
