Chevron shines at 2021 NOG Industry Awards

Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) has snagged the best exhibition booth award at the 2021 edition of the Nigeria Oil and Gas (NOG) conference and exhibitions.

Esimaje Brikinn, the company’s general manager on policy government and public affairs, broke the news in a statement sent to TheCable Lifestyle.

According to the statement, the award was presented to the company during the industry dinner and awards ceremony in Abuja on Wednesday.

It added that Rick Kennedy, CNL’s chairman and managing director, received the prize which was presented by Mele Kyari, group managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

Commenting on the award, Brikinn said the prize means a lot to the company because it is aimed at celebrating excellence.

“We are delighted to receive the award for the best exhibition booth at the conference and exhibition,” he said.

“We are aware that the NOG Conference and Exhibition thrives on excellence, and for CNL’s exhibition booth to have been adjudged as the best at the event is something to be proud of.”

He also reiterated the commitment of the NNPC/CNL Joint Venture to continue its support for the socio-economic development of Nigeria.

The NOG conference and exhibition is an annual oil and gas event in Africa held in Nigeria.

The event is aimed at providing platform for the international energy industry to meet with Nigerian oil and gas decision makers to deliberate on industry policies, explore partnership opportunities as well as strategies that will drive the nation towards energy sufficiency.
