Chimamanda Adichie, Nigerian novelist, has described as false, the reports quoting her as saying she is “Biafran and nothing else”.
She also distanced herself from the story: ‘Enough of this Political Correctness, I am a Biafran and Nothing Else — Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’.
Adichie said the quotes credited to her in the report were invented.
“This headline below, and other similar headlines, which appeared on some websites: are false,” she said.
“They are completely invented; along with some accompanying quotes which have been attributed to me. I did not say or write those words.”
Adichie has made Nigeria proud through her literary skills.
