Cisse ‘tells lover he’s going on holiday,’ but goes on to marry
Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse is facing public embarrassment after his girlfriend told the UK Sun that he lied to her that he was going to Senegal on holidays, only to find out on the Internet that he got married to another woman.
Cisse recently got married to Senegalese professional volleyball player, Diallo Awa, on May 30, and images from the wedding were posted on social media.

Rachelle Graham, a beauty queen and former Miss Newcastle, told the UK Sun that he told her he was going on holiday to Senegal to see his parents. She helped him pack his bags and kissed him goodbye at the Manchester airport just last week.

She got worried after Cisse wasn’t replying any of her text messages over the next three days. Then Rachelle went online and found pictures of his wedding well-attended by Senegalese dignitaries and other members of his bride’s volleyball team.
“I’m hurt and disgusted to learn Papiss has got married without me knowing after we spent so much time together recently,” she told the Sun.
“But it’s his life and if this is what he has chosen to do, there is nothing much I can do about it. I just wish he had the decency to tell me first.”
Cisse indirectly denied he was in a relationship with Rachelle. According to The Mirror, a friend of his told the paper: “Rachelle is not his girlfriend and they have not been in a proper relationship for a long time. They were not a couple, and that is why he did not tell her he was getting married.”
Cisse and Rachelle started seeing each other shortly after she won the Miss Newcastle pageant in 2012.
In April 2013, Rachelle raised £900 for Cisse’s charity Friends of Sedhiou to help raise money to buy an ambulance and refurnish a hospital in Senegal by partaking in a 13,000ft skydive.
Soon after, the couple was subjected to racist abuse by white supremacist Internet hackers who were against mixed relationships.
The couple ended their relationship in August 2013 because Cisse reportedly wanted to focus on his game after Newcastle’s dismal start to the season. However, Miss Graham claims they have been seeing each other on and off.
The 24-year-old model has been criticized on social media for being with the £40,000-a-week striker for his money and status. Rachel posted a tweet earlier on Thursday to condemn such suggestions

In March, Cisse was banned for two months by the English FA for spitting at Manchester United’s Jonny Evans.

First of all this issue started within Cisse and his X girlfrnd.Rechelle Graham cant lie @ Cisse,i believe her because they where together as lovers,but the issues is why dont Cisse opened up to her,its very bad habit he can as well do the same to that Senegalis lady ,even if Rachelle Graham has some good or bad habit which is not mentioned,Cisse should know that nobody is perfect.theses re some reasons why the white ladies hardly trust any african,i am a Nigerian ,so he should act like a man,wisely not foolisly becauase some dayz i will also wanna date a white lady.As for Rechelle Graham ,she should forgive Cisse GOD will give her a right man who will value her worth and tolerate her in all wayz.
