Cleanserve Integrated Energy Solutions Limited (CIES) has urged members of the public to disregard claims that it has appointed a new chief executive officer(CEO) and chairman.

In a statement on Thursday, the management maintained that the statement attributed to David Aloh, who was described as Cleanserve head, legal services and administration, alleging that the company has appointed “Chris Ndulue as the new chief executive officer and Vincent Ndubueze, a professor as the new board chairman” is false.

It said Yemi Lawal-Daki remained the legal head of the company and there was no staff named David Aloh.

CIES said there is an ongoing suit No. FHC/L/CS/1382/2019 in which Vincent Ndubueze, the newly appointed chairman and one other member were restrained by an order of the federal high court “from taking any step(s) in furtherance of their purported resolutions of the pre-AGM board meeting and/or annual general meeting of July 11, 2019, of the 4th defendant company pending and to abide the hearing and determination of the motion on notice”.

The fuel marketing company assured citizens that Azubuike Ishiekwene (pictured) and Lekan Abdul remain chairman and managing director/CEO of CIES respectively, as proven by the records of the company kept with the Corporate Affairs Commission(CAC).

It added that citizens should refrain from business transactions with the false appointees as they were not representatives of the company.
