AYM Shafa Limited, an oil and gas company, has donated medical equipment worth 20 million naira to Bauchi state.

In a statement on Wednesday, Ladan Salihu, chief of staff to the governor, said the donation is to support the state in the fight against coronavirus.

He said the equipment, which was received by Baba Tela, the deputy governor, will also alleviate the challenges associated with the management of patients in isolation centres.

According to him, the management of coronovirus requires the participation of everyone as the government alone cannot provided facilities needed for tackling the virus.
