Over the last decades, innovation and creativity have become critical skills for achieving success in developed economies. The need for creative problem solving has arisen as more and more managementand life problems require creative insights in order to find suitable solutions.

However, it is commonly believed that the term ‘creative’ is to be used for people in the arts, entertainment, arts, fashion or some industry that requires a dramatic touch,

Whether you are in business, the arts or sciences, everyone has the element of creativity in them.  No one is born without a single creative bone in his or her body. Some have just opted to immerse themselves in the development of that part of them. A muscle that is not used, degenerates.

Everyone has abilities, talents, giftings, something peculiar to them. It might be an affinity for numbers, words, or sounds; the possibilities cannot be exhausted. There are no definite recipes for creativity and innovation. However, it is possible to train oneself and try to be prepared.

In other words, we’ve all got it, but our personalities play a role in the kind of creative we are, and how we best feed into it.

This begs the question; why do people copy others? It is simply because they believe they are not creative. However, those termed ‘creative’ simply use innovative ideas from others as a springboard to come up with a unique application, product, or service for themselves.

Are you doing what you want to do each day, or are you just getting by, waiting for the weekend.

Get your creative juices flowing.

The greater your knowledge base and level of curiosity, the more ideas, patterns, and combinations you can achieve, which then correlates to creating new and innovative products and services.

It is a function of being conscious of the processes that guide us. Once we become aware of why and how we do what we do, we begin to witness the birth of creativity in our endeavors.

We find it is in the novel idea of entrepreneurs; the adoption of a new business model to drive sales, the improvement of practices, it is in the adoption of alternative source of energy. Creativity is all encompassing and collaborative.

Whatever discipline or environment you choose to work, engage in what you’re naturally suited to do. Creativity is born when our minds become free to ‘play’
