David Mark, chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), says the newly unveiled secretariat of the party will serve as a hub for leadership training, policy development, and democratic consolidation.
Mark spoke in Abuja on Monday during the unveiling of the ADC secretariat complex.
He said the building represents the party’s commitment to national service, responsible politics, and a governance culture anchored on transparency.
The former senate president added that the facility underscored the ADC’s resolve to strengthen institutions and build a country where public systems operate effectively and citizens benefit from accountable leadership.

“Here in Abuja, we unveil more than infrastructure,” Mark said.
“This complex will be a central hub where strategies are developed, ideas matured, leaders emerge, and policies are shaped to strengthen democracy nationwide.”
He said the inauguration symbolised unity, discipline, vision, and a renewed political character focused on national cohesion rather than partisan hostility.

Mark urged members to embrace justice, equity, public service, and collective nation-building as key principles guiding the party’s political conduct.
He called on ADC supporters to uphold responsibility, integrity, and accountability, stressing that leadership must be centred on citizens, not personal ambition.
“My message is simple: our actions will be anchored on character, courage, competence, discipline, and integrity, as we redefine political engagement and institutional conduct in service of the Nigerian people,” he said.
“With humility and unwavering faith in democracy, I unveil this national secretariat complex to honour God, advance our party, and contribute to Nigeria’s development and democratic consolidation across the country.”
