BET has released the nomination list for the 2014 BET awards and Davido and Tiwa Savage made the cut.

The two have been nominated alongside other contenders for the Best International Act: Africa. The power couple Jay Z and Beyonce take lead with four nominations each. Their song Drunk in Love is nominated as Best Collaboration.

The award show will air live from Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday, June 29 at 8pm EST.

The BET Awards were instituted in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television network.

The aim is to celebrate African Americans and other minorities in music, acting, sports, and other fields of entertainment.
