Seriake Dickson, governor of Bayelsa state, has appointed two members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) into his cabinet.

They are Ben Iyororokumo, who was appointed special adviser on inter party relations, and Clever Lawrence, the new special adviser on information, communication and technology development.

The governor charged them to put in their best in helping him achieve his restoration mandate.

He explained that his decision to pick people from the opposition party was in fulfillment of his promise to run an all-inclusive government.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governor, who was reelected in January, dissolved his cabinet two months ago, retaining only Daniel Iworiso-Markson, his chief press secretary (CPS).

The governorship election was a fierce contest between him and Timipre Sylva, former governor of the state, who ran on the platform of the APC.
