There’s an individuality craze out there, everyone speaks of authenticity, originality, individuality, yet we are at best; a copy of each other. Now no one says copying is bad, in fact, it is good to copy. If there were no base, form will be difficult. Why reinvent the wheel they say, but even in that, there has to be an individual touch to your reinvention. It must be a different version of or better still, an improvement of the original.

The truth is, there is really nothing new under the sun. We only have to see old knowledge with new eyes. The newness of the eyes lies in the strength of how much has been committed to introspecting, which births authentic visions and ideas.

What is unique about you? What differentiates you from the next person? You must first know yourself.

You cannot become whom you have not first known. To know is to discover, to understand, to discern and to acknowledge. This means that you constantly have to embrace your truth.

Only after knowing who you are and accepting what is yours to do and what isn’t can you begin the journey of self-mastery. It is at this point that you are then able to create and recreate. Your difference becomes evident in your ability to infuse your essence or what is unique about you in word, thought or deed to every creative process.

I’ll say to you: Open your eyes; Open your mind, to gut, to self, to spirit.

Copy with ‘sense’! Say it differently. Do it how you feel it, how it comes to you. Do it unsure if you have to, do it anyway!
