Nigerian-Brazilian striker Dominic Uzoukwu is confident of scoring 20 goals for Beijing BG this season.

The 23-year-old has already netted 11 times in the Chinese second-tier league and he’s aiming to double his tally.

“I have scored 11 times already and I’m very confident of scoring more for my club,” he told TheCable.

“When I was coming here, I set a target to score in every game but although that has not been the case, I think I have done relatively well.

“The general ambition of every player here is to help the club secure promotion to the Chinese Super League and we are well on course.”

The forward joined the club from Vejle in January and has impressed with his goal stats.

Prior to Dominic’s transfer to China, he had found the net nine times for Vejle in 16 appearances in the Danish First Division, with three assists in those games.
