There was drama at the Smithsonian Museum of African Art in Washington DC, United States, when fire service officials responded to an emergency during a Sango rendition for Adeyeye Enitan, ooni of Ife, who is currently on a tour in the country.

Fire and smoke from the traditional performance led to the alarm, but explanations from the organisers made the firefighters suspend action.
However, they reportedly left their equipment on standby in the event of an unlikely situation.

The monarch is not expected to return to the country until next month.
