D’Tigers crash out of Afrobasket after losing to Senegal in quarter-final

D'Tigers' Josh Okogie struggles to defend a slam dunk in Nigeria's lost to Senegal in 2025 Afrobasket quarter-final

D’Tigers have been knocked out of the 2025 AfroBasket in Angola.

The team lost 91-75 to Senegal in the quarter-final of the competition, which was held at the Pavilhao Multiusos de Luanda on Wednesday.

Nigeria failed to replicate their impeccable performance that won them Group B with three resounding wins in as many games.

Although D’Tigers started the game on the front foot, they let the game slip in the later parts, and the Senegalese grabbed their chances diligently.
