Cameroon and Mozambique are in Group B, alongside a yet-to-be-named wild card team while Senegal, Mali and Uganda will slug it out in Group C.

D’Tigress have won the last three editions of the Women’s Afrobasket and remain unbeaten in every African competition.

The Nigerian senior women’s national basketball team won the 2017 trophy in Bamako and claimed their second title in Dakar, Senegal, in 2019, before completing the three-peat in Cameroon in 2021.
