The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has provided the Super Eagles with a chartered aircraft to fly to South Africa for the friendly match against the Bafana Bafana in Nelspruit.

In a statement released on the federation’s website, the delegation, which will be led by chairman of the NFF technical and development committee, Felix Anyansi-Agwu, will depart from the Ibom International Airport, Uyo before midnight on Friday and fly direct to Nelspruit.

“NFF Deputy General Secretary, Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme will also join players and officials on the ARIK Air’s CRJ 900 plane. NFF President Amaju Pinnick has made it clear to the team to redeem its image somewhat by winning in Nelspruit,” the statement read in parts.

The Mbombela Stadium, the venue of the match is not strange to the Super Eagles. Nigeria played two matches there on the way to triumph at the 2013 Orange Africa Cup of Nations.
