The anti-graft agency added that items recovered during the operation included mobile phones, laptops, internet routers, and a Honda Accord, noting that the suspects will be charged in court upon conclusion of investigations.

In January, the anti-graft agency said its operatives arrested 29 suspected internet fraudsters in Benin, the Edo state capital.

The suspects were said to have been nabbed at an apartment used as a “yahoo academy or training school” for internet-related fraud and other fraudulent activities.
