Ejo calls 20 Sand Eagles to camp

Supersand Eagles coach, Audu Adamu Ejo, has invited 20 players to camp.

The two-time African champions are preparing for next month’s Power Horse Invitational Tournament in South Africa as well as the qualifiers for the African Beach Soccer Championship.

Ejo, who led the team to seventh position at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Ravenna, Italy in 2011, has ordered the players to report to camp between February 23rd and March 4th.

The eight-nation Power Horse Invitational Tournament takes place in Durban, South Africa from March 6th to 8th.

Nigeria will then host Libya on March 14th in the first leg of the qualifying match for the African Beach Soccer Championship. The return leg takes place in Libya on March 20th.

The 2015 African Beach Soccer Championship is scheduled for Seychelles between April 14th and 19th.
