ECN celebrates 17th cohort
The Electoral College Nigeria has celebrated the graduation of its 17th politeracy and governance 101 programme cohort.
The virtual event brought together students, alumni, mentors, and changemakers from across Africa and the diaspora, “united by a shared commitment to responsible governance and active citizenship”.
Over 1,000 registered participants from diverse backgrounds underwent the programme, which combined academic instruction with practical engagement to simplify governance concepts.
The programme’s 29-module curriculum covered foundational topics like the executive, legislature, and judiciary, as well as critical areas like governance and corruption, the electoral act, misinformation and disinformation.
