The National Youth League Cup (NYLC) Super 8 will hold at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos
The first-ever Nigeria Youth League Cup (NYLC) Super 8 will commence in Lagos from June 23 to 29.
The U-19 championship will feature eight teams from across Nigeria at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos.
The participating teams are Kano Pillars, Kwara United, Plateau United, Enyimba, Sunshine Stars, Atlantic Business FC, Shuffle Select and Malantarki Care FC.
The winners of the competition take home N10 million, while the runners-up get N8 million. The third-placed team would get N6 million, and the fourth-placed side would also get N4 million. The four others would pocket N3 million each.

Robinson Alakosa, president of the Nigeria Youth League Cup, said Villa Gorriz, the head of recruitment for FC Barcelona, would be a guest at the week-long event, where all the matches would also be streamed live to talent scouts around the world.
“Our cardinal objectives, among several others, are to enable the youngsters to benefit from participating in team sports with a view to inspiring other youngsters to practice the ideals of sportsmanship, scholarship and physical fitness,” Adakosa said.
