Bruno Fernandes’ stunning volley secured a 1-0 win for Manchester United at toothless Burnley in their English Premier League (EPL) match at Turf Moor on Saturday evening.

The Portuguese star helped Man United nip their poor run of form with a goal that secured a first win in four matches in all competitions.

Fernandes had timed his run to perfection to meet Johnny Evan’s ball over the top from deep before lashing a volley past James Trafford in Burnley’s goal to silence the crowd.

Evans had a goal disallowed by VAR earlier as the home side could not mount a challenge against Man United.

The win is United’s third of the season.

Erik ten Hag’s men are on nine points from six matches.
