Mykhailo Mudryk scored his first goal since he joined Chelsea as the Blues defeated Fulham 2-0 in their English Premier League (EPL) clash at Craven Cottage.

Mudryk’s opener was followed by Armand Broja’s fortuitous goal as Chelsea scored twice in two minutes to secure an important victory that stopped a three-match winless streak in the league.

The Ukrainian controlled a pass before dispatching his strike in the 18th minute — to score his first goal since arriving at the club for £88 million in January 2023.

Mudryk’s goal is also Chelsea’s first in four EPL matches.

Broja, on the other hand, profited from poor defending a minute later, as a clearance ricocheted off the young striker who also claimed his first goal since October 2022.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side enjoyed a comfortable second half to close out the victory, relieving the club of mounting pressure.

The Blues move above their hosts to 11th position on the EPL table, and will next face Burnley at Turf Moor.
