Manchester United overcame Crystal Palace by a solitary goal in their English Premier League (EPL) encounter at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The slim win in a dull encounter ushered in the tenure of Ralf Rangnick, Man United’s interim manager appointed during the week.
The victory was secured courtesy of Fred’s 77th-minute stunning strike. The Brazilian midfield battler curled Mason Greenwood’s pass into the top corner.
Rangnick’s side saw out a feeble Palace response to claim their second league win in four days.
The victory also continued Man United’s renaissance since the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with the Red Devils moving up to sixth on the league table with 24 points.
