It is taking place in Calabar, Enugu and Virtual Streaming. Young Historian Competition promises to be an immersive and transformative experience for both participants and viewers across the globe.

With an impressive lineup of renowned Judges, a cutting-edge display of Nigerian culture, and interactive workshops, this event is set to redefine the boundaries of History in modern-day society.
Key components of the inter-universities competition are:

– An open call for applications, inviting all qualified applicants to have a shot at the biggest history competition in the country.

– Virtual Learning Series where the top 30 participants will be trained and equipped by seasoned facilitators on history learning, politics and governance, research and presentation skills.

– Five Rounds of Intense Competition where participants have the chance to progress to the grand finale starting from the intra-regional stages, inter-regional stages, quarter-finals and semifinal stages at various locations across the country, enabling them to tour Nigeria and experience the beauty in diversity.

The competition promises to be an exciting, educative and thought-provoking series of events that would usher in a new hope for Nigeria through the intentional focus on the youth population who, when truly inspired, can change the narrative for Nigeria through patriotic acts and services to the country.
